About Katerina
Hello! I am Katerina and I am a second year Physics student at the University of St Andrews. I am experienced in Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge boards' syllabi, having completed International GCSEs and A Levels and securing As and A*s. I have taken Physics, Astrophysics, Mathematics and Music modules and am an active student ambassador of the School of Physics and Astronomy in the University.

I'm a new maths and physics tutor with a focus on helping pupils understand and not just memorise. Too often, schools rush through the fundamentals or teach with a rigid approach that makes these subjects seem harder than they are. That was definitely the case for me in early grades. I aim to break down core concepts, using everyday examples and adapting to each pupil's way of learning. If your goal is better understanding of physics and maths or just passing an exam, I aim to get you there as best I can and build confidence, spark curiosity, and show you that maths and physics can be simple.
