About Emily
As a kid, I read voraciously, and even as an adult, I still read and write as often as I can. After graduating from Pace University Magna cum laud, with my BA in English Language and Literature, I worked as a copy-editor for top companies, but quickly realized that my real passion is teaching.

I believe that the key to excellent verbal and written communication skills is to read and write often. I instill into my students a love for reading, which translates into curiosity about the English language. My approach as a tutor is to have an open and honest relationship with my students and a safe environment for them to learn and ask questions.
