About Vimal

With over 15 years of experience spanning education, finance, and corporate sectors, I have cultivated a unique professional journey that combines academic excellence with real-world business acumen. My career began in accountancy, where I earned my CIMA qualification while developing expertise in financial analysis, compliance, and strategic decision-making. This foundation led me to the banking sector, where my innovative approach to process optimisation and client relations earned me the prestigious "Employee of the Year" award, recognising my contributions to revenue growth and operational efficiency. Transitioning into the FMCG sector, I applied my financial expertise to marketing initiatives, completing professional marketing qualifications (including CIM certifications) to lead campaigns that increased brand visibility by 30% in competitive markets. This cross-functional experience honed my ability to bridge data-driven strategy with creative problem-solving – skills I later brought to the education sector. For the past decade, I've dedicated myself to teaching and examination development, creating and assessing exam papers for GCSEs, A-Levels, and professional qualifications across multiple disciplines including mathematics, business studies, and economics. My dual perspective as both an educator and industry professional allows me to design curricula that connect theoretical concepts with practical applications, resulting in measurable improvements – including raising student pass rates by 20% through innovative teaching methodologies. I hold advanced teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTLS) and specialise in adapting pedagogical approaches for diverse learners, from secondary students to adult education participants. What distinguishes my professional journey is the synergy between these roles: my accounting precision informs my exam paper design, my corporate communication skills enhance my teaching delivery, and my marketing experience enables me to present complex concepts accessibly. Whether guiding students through exam preparation, analysing financial systems, or developing strategic campaigns, my approach remains rooted in analytical rigour, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence. I welcome opportunities to leverage this multidisciplinary background in educational leadership, examination consultancy, or corporate training roles where my blended expertise can deliver exceptional value.
