About Giada
I am a professional dancer and performer with many years of experience in body movement of all different kinds such as holistic movement ( yoga, pilates, Gyrotonic), somatic practices, and endless dance techniques (ballet, contemporary, martial arts, street dance) and breathing techniques.
I am a certified yoga and pilates instructor but I am mostly focusing on Pilates at the moment because I like how it makes people grounded, connected and aligned in their bodies and minds.
Today's busy life is making us lose that sacred time-space that is needed to breathe and connect with OURSELVES and with our THOUGHTS. Even just moving from one place to another in the city adds further stress and above all it wastes time to our PRECIOUS LIVES. With my online Pilates classes, I want to offer you an opportunity to stay CALM in your own home or wherever you are at that moment, and to dedicate time to your WELL-BEING.

My teaching approach is flexible and diversified according to the needs, skills, and objectives of the individual and/or group.
Mat Pilates technique includes a form of mind-body training as well as intense physical movement, with the support of small equipment such as softball, theraband, yoga block, and small weight, if needed and required. There is a strong focus on breathing and the activation of deep muscles starting from the centre of the body. The activation of the core is of fundamental importance to obtain a good awareness of one's body and to be able to work efficiently with other muscles by going towards the extremities of the body. Achieving a balanced psycho-physical alignment is the goal. Awareness, precision, balance, concentration, centre, harmony, breath, flow, efficiency, and control are the principles on which the methodology I teach towards the achievement of well-being is based.
I am currently focusing on teaching online private lessons 1 to 1 because I want to give my undivided attention to my student. I believe that this is important in terms of following the student step by step, exercise by exercise giving them detailed personalized corrections. I am also open to requests for small group sessions, maybe between members of the same family or between friends that can schedule the class on the same day and time
I like to make my students feel at ease and make sure that at the end of the lesson they feel connected with themselves and with their bodies, ready to face the rest of the day with serenity and authentic joy!
