About Tabia
I’m a piano tutor with 14 years of experience and a strong passion for helping students grow both creatively and technically. I hold a Licentiate of Music in Piano (LMusA equivalent), and I’ve worked with learners preparing for ABRSM, Rockschool, and university-level piano programs. Whether you’re aiming for exams, auditions, or simply want to enjoy playing, I tailor each lesson to fit your goals and pace. My teaching combines structure with inspiration. I focus on technique, theory, and expression, while encouraging curiosity and confidence. I believe in making music both disciplined and joyful. I’ve guided students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced performers. My goal is to help you unlock your full musical potential—one note at a time. I pay close attention to your strengths and areas of growth, building a lesson path that keeps you challenged and motivated. Music is more than just notes on a page—it’s a form of self-expression. I’d love to help you discover your voice through the piano. Let’s make music that reflects who you are.

My piano teaching approach is supportive, creative, and built on a strong technical foundation. I focus on proper keyboard technique from the beginning to develop control, speed, and comfort. Lessons include a balance of ear training, music theory, and performance skills to shape well-rounded musicians. I guide students in understanding how theory connects to what they play, helping them read music and also play by ear. Each lesson is adjusted to fit the student's pace and interest—whether they're exploring music casually or aiming for advanced performance. I make sure learning stays enjoyable and motivating at every stage. For young learners with high potential, I create structured, challenging lessons that bring out their best while keeping it fun. For adults who play as a passion, I offer a relaxed space to grow at their own rhythm and celebrate progress. I include sight-reading, improvisation, and technique drills that support both creativity and skill-building. No matter your age or goal, I’ll help you build confidence, expression, and joy at the piano. Music is a journey, and I’m here to guide yours every step of the way.
