About Giselle
With 8 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Piano Studies, I bring a mindful and holistic approach to piano instruction. My teaching approach focuses on helping learners build musical fluency right from the very first lesson. I emphasize finger independence through targeted exercises, making sure each finger gains strength and control. Reading fluency is key, so I guide students to recognize notes and rhythms quickly, turning sheet music into music they can play confidently. Real-time rhythm training helps develop a strong sense of timing and groove, essential for all styles. I also include duet playing to encourage listening skills, teamwork, and musical conversation.

Some students thrive when learning popular music, while others focus on music for community and worship settings. I provide personalized guidance that nurtures both technical skills and emotional connection to the music. My goal is to help every student express themselves freely on the piano.
