About Joe
I am a PHD student at York St John university specializing in post war and current British politics, and trade unions.
I have a research master’s in religion politics and international relations. My 30,000 world published thesis focuses on coal strikes during the premierships of Edward Heath and Margaret Thatcher.
I also have a BA in History and politics.
Previously I have stood as a candidate in local elections.
Former Chair of the York St John politics society.

I prefer a more discussion style tutor session. so, we can properly unpack key concepts and understanding in your chosen topic. I will set tasks for you to do to aid you in your study. But open to what you want from a session.
My preferred teaching session is an hour or two but open to longer or shorter sessions for students with special needs I.e., dyslexia.(I also have dyslexia) or for students with a shorter attention span.
