• Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

  My first experience with a computer was a mixture of curiosity and excitement. I was around 10 years old, and I vividly remember opening up Microsoft PowerPoint for the first time. The ability to create slides, add animations, and make something visually appealing fascinated me. That early exposure sparked my interest in technology and laid the foundation for my passion for tools like PowerPoint and Excel, which I now specialize in teaching.

• What is the technological evolution that has marked you most, and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

  The evolution of cloud computing has had a significant impact on me. Tools like Google Drive and Microsoft 365 have revolutionized how we collaborate and share information. In my field, they've transformed financial modeling and presentations, enabling real-time collaboration and seamless data sharing.
  
  Looking ahead, I believe artificial intelligence (AI) will be the next major turning point. AI-powered tools are already streamlining processes, and I foresee them revolutionizing how we create, analyze, and visualize data in the coming years.

• Explain your expertise, your interest in it, and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

  My expertise lies in financial modeling and creating impactful PowerPoint presentations. These skills bridge the gap between complex data and effective communication. Financial modeling is crucial for making data-driven decisions, particularly in fields like project finance and investment analysis, where precise calculations guide multimillion-dollar projects.
  
  Similarly, a well-crafted PowerPoint presentation is a powerful tool for conveying ideas, persuading stakeholders, and driving actionable insights. Mastering these tools ensures that data doesn't just sit in spreadsheets but drives meaningful conversations and decisions.

• Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you, or do you have other role models?

  While visionaries like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs have certainly inspired millions with their groundbreaking contributions, my inspiration comes from professionals who excel in the niche areas of finance and education. For instance, seeing how financial analysts and educators combine technology with their expertise to make a difference motivates me to do the same. Their work reminds me that success isn't just about innovation but also about making complex concepts accessible to others.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  During my early days of learning Excel, I once spent hours manually calculating values for a project, only to discover the magic of formulas and functions like VLOOKUP and PivotTables later. It was a humbling but transformative moment that taught me the importance of leveraging technology to work smarter, not harder. Today, I share this lesson with my students, helping them realize how small breakthroughs can significantly improve their productivity.

• What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

  I'd say, "Every expert was once a beginner." Technology might seem intimidating at first, but it's all about starting small and building your confidence step by step. Think of it like learning a new language-it gets easier with practice. I always encourage people to focus on the basics and remind them that tools are there to make their lives easier, not harder.

• What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

  Outside of IT, I'm passionate about teaching and mentoring. I find immense satisfaction in helping others overcome challenges and build their skills. Beyond that, I enjoy reading about personal development and exploring how technology can enhance productivity and learning in everyday life.
