I am a passionate singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice. My love for ear training, harmony, and melody drives every lesson I teach. I believe in the transformative power of music to inspire and connect people deeply. I teach a wide variety of styles, including classical, pop, jazz, blues, and movie singing. My lessons focus on vocal training, music theory, sight singing, and performance techniques to build confident, skilled singers. My singing methodology is designed to help both The Church Ensemble Player and The Crossover Artist master multiple genres like classical, pop, and jazz. For The Church Ensemble Player, I focus on clear vocal technique, breath control, and blending with harmony to fit worship settings. The Crossover Artist learns how to switch styles smoothly, adapting pitch control and vocal tone for each genre’s unique demands.
Both personas develop strong musicality by understanding phrasing, dynamics, and emotional expression. I emphasize flexibility, helping singers adjust their voice to match different styles confidently. We work on expanding vocal range and improving pitch accuracy to meet each genre’s requirements.
Modern technology plays a big role in tracking progress. I use digital audio workstations (DAWs) for recording and playback, metronomes for timing, and pitch training apps to sharpen intonation. These tools make practice more effective and engaging.
Through personalized coaching and tech support, singers gain the skills needed to perform with confidence across genres. Whether in a choir or on stage, students learn to express their unique voice while honoring each style’s tradition. The goal is to build versatility, control, and passion in every performance.
