About Wendy

With 3 years of experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Vocal Performance, I specialize in helping adult learners explore their voice with confidence. Many of my students are returning to singing after years away or trying it for the first time in a community choir, karaoke night, or just for fun. I believe it's never too late to sing. My lessons are warm, welcoming, and judgment-free. We focus on breath support, vocal relaxation, posture, and building a tone that feels natural and expressive. I draw from jazz, folk, blues, and contemporary styles to keep the learning relevant and enjoyable. You'll learn to sing with ease, presence, and mindfulness. I work with you to release tension, stay grounded, and trust your sound. Singing is a powerful way to reconnect with yourself and others. Let’s make music a joyful, empowering part of your everyday life.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is built to support singers who want to prepare for auditions and perform with confidence. I work closely with each student to develop the right mindset, technical strength, and emotional connection for any stage. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your performance, lessons are always adapted to your goals.

We focus on building strong vocal technique and breath control first. From there, we work on selecting the right repertoire that fits your voice, personality, and audition needs. I guide students through performance practices that improve tone, diction, projection, and style.

To help with stage presence, I use practical tools like video feedback, visualization, and body awareness. If nerves are a challenge, we use simple, effective methods to reduce performance anxiety and stay calm under pressure. I believe in progress through consistent support and honest, uplifting feedback.

I’m especially skilled at working with The Adult Beginner and The Advanced Teen. Both groups often need different forms of encouragement, structure, and challenge—and I’m here to provide exactly that. Together, we’ll create a routine that helps you grow as a singer and feel ready for any performance situation.
