About Kaia
Chemistry is a discipline of detail, and teaching it has been my focus for over 8 years. My MSc in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry provides a strong foundation for lessons. Analytical chemistry is at the centre of my teaching. Students learn chromatography, spectroscopy, and titrations with step-by-step guidance. I also emphasise experimental design and critical evaluation of results. Data interpretation is practised through structured examples. Many of my students are preparing for careers in research or quality assurance. For them, accuracy is more than academic—it is professional. Lessons include case studies to mirror lab situations. Support is flexible, adapting to both exam needs and career goals. Students are encouraged to think like chemists, not just test-takers. I make analytical chemistry engaging, practical, and rewarding. Ultimately, there is satisfaction in precision. The joy of exact measurement and analysis is a highlight in every session.

Chemistry is not just equations; it is a way of thinking. My teaching emphasises clarity in acid-base chemistry, pH calculations, titration curves, and buffer stability. Students are taught through real-life examples that make concepts relatable. Sessions are designed to promote critical thinking and structured problem-solving. Chemical equilibrium is a constant focus, connecting all these areas together. Learners gain confidence by practising calculations in a systematic way. Researchers benefit from lessons that reflect experimental realities and data interpretation. Olympiad contestants receive advanced challenges that sharpen logical precision. Every lesson has structure but leaves space for flexibility. I break down complex topics into clear steps. Errors are used as learning opportunities. The approach builds both skill and resilience. Chemistry becomes less about memorising and more about solving. With practice, confidence grows and understanding deepens.
