About Elizabeth
I am passionate about the performing arts industry and have been from a young age. When I was six, I would spend hours watching performers dance in films/musicals on the T.V.
To begin with, I taught myself the routines in my bedroom, where I would also sing along loudly to the soundtracks. After the 100th rendition of ‘Hopelessly Devoted to You’ (from Grease), my suffering parents took me to get lessons. I fell in love with musical theatre, and having the opportunity to express myself through performance at a young age helped me grow my confidence. This confidence helped me develop reading aloud in class or approaching a new group of friends at school to ask if they would like to learn the latest ‘Spicegirls’ routines with me.
My training at The Guildford School of Acting and being in professional shows has given me the knowledge, technique and an understanding of what it takes to become a professional performer in this industry. I have been lucky enough to appear in shows such as Wicked (understudying Glinda), and Cats (understudying Grizabella). I have been teaching dance, singing and acting for six years and have been lucky enough to teach all over the country at various dance schools, colleges and universities. I would love to help others realise their confidence and passion.
