About Elena

I take tutoring seriously because I’ve been in your shoes before frustrated, stressed, and wishing someone could just explain it in a way that made sense. Now that I’ve figured out how to make math click for me, I want to do the same for you. I’ll come prepared for every session, keep us on track, and make sure you leave feeling more confident than when you started.

About the lesson

I get what it’s like to be a student because I am one. As a high school junior in IB Math, I know where people get stuck and how to explain things in a way that actually makes sense. I like breaking problems down step-by-step so they’re not as intimidating, and I’ll always explain things in plain language not confusing math talk. I can also adjust how I teach depending on how you learn best.
