About Emory
I hold a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and have spent the past 8 years teaching singers across a variety of genres and levels. My professional journey includes private vocal coaching, directing community vocal ensembles, and working with solo performers to prepare them for competitions and public performances. In addition to teaching, I have years of stage experience as a solo vocalist and ensemble member. My performance background informs my teaching approach, allowing me to guide students through the artistic and emotional aspects of singing, not just technique. I bring practical insight into how to develop both voice and stage presence. My goal is to support each singer’s individual path—whether you want to sing for joy, audition, or perform. I strive to create a welcoming space where your voice can grow naturally and confidently. Lessons are always tailored, motivational, and aligned with your goals and musical interests.

My singing lessons start with laying a solid vocal foundation through posture, breathing control, and vocal warm-ups. Whether you're a beginner or returning to singing, we’ll strengthen your understanding of your own voice. I use customised warm-up routines and exercises to help you find your natural sound while safely expanding your range. As we progress, the focus shifts to tone clarity, pitch consistency, vocal agility, and stylistic interpretation. Lessons include techniques for dynamics, diction, and emotional expression. You’ll work with a wide selection of music tailored to your style—whether classical, pop, or musical theatre—while continuing to refine technical control. For advanced learners or aspiring performers, I offer specialised coaching in stage presence, song interpretation, and performance readiness. You’ll learn how to connect with your audience and bring authenticity to your performances. Whether preparing for auditions, recordings, or personal growth, I help you develop both skill and confidence.
