About Riya
With 5 years of Excel training experience, I help learners turn spreadsheet challenges into opportunities for problem-solving. My lessons blend formula mastery with visual storytelling through charts and dashboards. I work with students, analysts, and managers to improve their decision-making through better data handling. Whether it's cleaning messy data or automating reports, my goal is efficiency. Functions like INDEX-MATCH, FILTER, and SEQUENCE become creative tools in our sessions. I always explain the reasoning behind each feature to encourage independent thinking. Hands-on exercises are a core part of my approach. This ensures skills are immediately applicable. We also discuss layout and design for user-friendly spreadsheets. By combining technical skills with practical application, learners become confident Excel users. My focus is on creating not just competence, but mastery.

Excel is more than a spreadsheet—it’s a thinking tool. My teaching approach starts with understanding what the student needs, then designing a path that delivers those skills. We cover basics like formulas and formatting, then expand into advanced topics such as dynamic arrays, data validation, and interactive charts.
I’m highly skilled in supporting Project Tracker-in-Training and Business Analyst learners, showing them how to manage and present data efficiently. Real-world tasks like budget tracking and KPI dashboards are integrated into lessons. I believe learning should be active, so students work through problems as we go.
Shortcuts, quick tips, and error-prevention strategies are introduced early. The aim is to create confident users who can work fast and think critically with data. By the end, Excel becomes an extension of their problem-solving toolkit.
