About Axel
I’m a violin tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education specialising in Strings – Violin. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of directing string ensembles, group violin classes, and youth orchestras. These experiences have deepened my understanding of section leading, ensemble dynamics, and tuning as a cohesive group. I focus on building strong team musicianship, helping players listen and respond to one another to create balanced, expressive performances. I’ve worked with schools, community centres, and chamber groups, adapting my teaching to suit each group’s unique needs and goals. Leading ensembles has taught me the importance of patience, communication, and inspiring every member to contribute their best. I believe that ensemble playing brings a special joy and fosters growth beyond individual skills. Together, musicians learn cooperation, confidence, and the magic of making music as one. I’m passionate about guiding players on this collective journey and celebrating every milestone along the way.
