About Yara
I’m a Spanish tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of International Studies, majoring in Spanish and Latin American Studies. My passion lies in bringing language to life through Latin American cinema, music, and pop culture. I believe language is best learned when it’s connected to rhythm, stories, and emotion. In my lessons, we dive into song lyrics, film dialogues, cultural references, and regional expressions. This immersive method helps students improve their listening skills, vocabulary, and overall comprehension. It also makes the learning process much more engaging and meaningful.
