About Sukhmani
I’m Sukhmani, a Life Sciences student at McMaster University with a strong academic background in biology, chemistry, math, and English. I’ve consistently performed well in these subjects and know how to explain complex concepts in ways that actually stick. I’ve studied university-level science and math, so I know how to break them down clearly for younger learners and build strong foundational understanding. I’ve spent the last four years working with younger students at my dance academy, where I’ve led, taught, and helped kids grow their confidence. Hi! I’m Sukhmani, a BSc Life Sciences student at McMaster University with a strong background in math, science, and English. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to match their pace and style. My method focuses on clear, step-by-step explanations, lots of encouragement, and building real understanding instead of memorization. In a typical session, we start with a quick check-in to review what the student already knows. Then we work through new concepts together using examples, visuals, and guided practice. I always make sure the student feels confident before moving on. At the end of each lesson, we go over key points and I provide extra practice if needed. What makes me different as a tutor is how I make students feel supported and motivated. I’m patient, approachable, and truly care about helping them succeed.
