About Nora

I am a violin tutor with over 8 years of teaching and performing experience, holding a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance. My foundation is deeply rooted in classical training, which I combine with opportunities for students to explore modern expression and personal creativity through the violin. I focus on essential techniques such as bowing, vibrato, phrasing, and interpretation, helping students bring both precision and emotion to their playing. I guide learners across Classical, Contemporary, and Cinematic styles, tailoring lessons to individual goals and musical interests. My experience includes preparing students for ABRSM and Trinity exams, as well as coaching in orchestral settings, nurturing both technical skill and ensemble awareness. I emphasise healthy practice habits, musical mindfulness, and a love for expressive performance. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, my teaching encourages combining solid technique with imaginative interpretation.
