About Akshat
I am Literature student currently but I have been teaching Music, especially Piano, for more than 3 years now. I have experience with all age groups and adjust my pace accordingly. I am a self taught musician, playing for than a decade now. I have performed on various high stake stages and lead my college's music club for 2 years with a great list of achievements. My learning journey was not restricted to one particular course or method, I taught myself everything with a lot of sources so you can count on me to know what struggles beginners face. I will go completely away from traditional methods and teach in very fun and quirky ways. You can always book a demo class to get a taste!

We will start from the very basics and slowly move up the ladder. Traditional methods miss out on a lot of instinctive things which a Pianist should know, as a person who learned the instrument himself I am well aware of the struggles and questions which pop up in everyone's mind and I go out of the way to clear up those small things which will go a long way in your music journey.
I use a professional setup with a virtual keyboard so the student can clearly see what I am doing! It will make it very easy for you to understand things.
The general course structure I follow is this (in the same order)
1. Identifying keys, Sharps and Flats
2. Constructing scales (of all types) and learning the logic behind them.
3. Tempo, Rhythm and Time Signature.
4. Chords and Chord Progressions
5. Dexterity exercises and Arpeggios
6. Sight Reading (this takes at least 4-5 weeks as sight reading involves a lot of symbols and confusing areas) I prefer going over this very slowly.
7. Modes of playing...
and much more!
After the first 2-3 classes, you will get practice material and homework too :P so you don't slack off!
Be confident that you are being taught in the best and most productive way possible and are being taught each and every one of the important concepts.

Perfect! My son is currently being trained by Akshat and so far, everything is going well. When I observed during the.trial class, I found Akshat as very knowledgeable about piano and also very student-friendly. He is my son's first formal teacher and my son is very encouraged and enthusiastic to attend his classes.
Perfect! Akshat sir is very patient and teaches every topic in detail in a manner that's easy to grasp. If I face any difficulty in understanding concept he tries new techniques till I understand it completely and no more confusion is left. Time to time Akshat sir also checks whether or not student remembers his past lessons. The course curriculum is too good and as I knew some basics , I was on Music Sheet basics in my 3rd session. The best part is about flexibility of time as sir adjusts according to student.
Its been more than 8 weeks and I have seen many improvements since I had difficulty in playing with left hand , and now slowly I am able to play arpeggios with my left hand and coordination is coming between both hands.Perfect! Focuses the class time towards you're interested in learning

Akshat is an outstanding piano teacher! He gets really involved with his students making them understand the nitty-gritty of a piano, making the entire experience fun and enjoyable at the same time.
Akshat has been learning the piano since he was in the third grade. And that has added to his great experience. You know Akshat plays for fun, and is passionate about music. He is patient and loves to be around people who share the same passion for music, and also teach them and help them on the keys. He is the go-to person if you want to learn piano, not the easy way, but definitely the fun way......
-Akshat's friend whom he tried to teach the piano, before the lockdown happenedAkshat is a really great teacher with a lot of patience and experience. He has unique methods of teaching, which you will not find in any textbook. If you are looking to learn piano or even music composition, he's your guy.
Akshat has the ability to make you feel comfortable with what you want to learn and he has the patience and potential to bring out the hidden talent in the learner. He is very professional about what he does and has a great sense of responsibility. If you want to learn in a way which you will never forget, I would highly recommend him.
I would surely recommend others to take classes from Akshat. He teaches patiently and at an easy pace. Holds good knowledge in theory and starts with the very basics. His other great qualities as a teacher include politeness and humbleness.
Akshat is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of thought into how he presents his material. His lessons were engaging, useful, and he was very patient with me in class always encouraging me to try. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in learning the keyboard.
very nice tutor, i feel very comfortable and confident with him. he is very warm and explain with patience, indeed after 4 months of classes i can say i wouldn't be playing like this if for him. His rates are also very genuine compared to other tutors and are value for money. thank you akshat, will always be grateful.
If he could've taught me, someone with no prior knowledge, and bad musical abilities/sense, he can teach anyone.
He's an amazing teacher, starts from ground 0, and I was able to transition smoothly from basics to be able to play a few of my fav songs.Took two months of classes, thrice a week. Very amazing and soft spoken teacher. Have to say I am much more confident on the keys now. From playing only simple melodies to using both my hands in such a short amount of time. Thank you so much. Will return again hehe
