Start from Hieroglyphs, you will know how did Chinese characters evolve in the long history of Chinese culture.
Then, I will seperate each Chinese Word into different part, every Chinese word has its own "Pian Pang Bu Shou". Each word is like a little cat, it has its head, arm, leg.... Until assembled together, ite can be seen as a whole and has its own unique meaning. When different cats(Chinese Word) meet each other, they can combined( hug together) as one Chinese character or they can just sit next to each other and be a word.
As we all know that Chinese has a very long history, each character has so many meanings that we Chinese people often play "Homophony Game".
Chinese has lots of fun, you can enjoy the class by listening to the Chinese History, listening to TV episodes, watching TV entertainment show etc.
