About Sara

Hello! My name is Sara, and I come from a small town near Milan in northern Italy. I love to travel, and you will often find me in a different country—maybe yours, who knows! :) I have lived in Australia, London, and Spain, and these experiences have enriched my understanding, allowing me to easily explain not only the Italian language but also cultural differences and idiomatic expressions. I have also learned, and continue to improve, in foreign languages, so I understand the difficulties one might encounter and know the most effective learning methods. I am passionate about teaching people of all ages and from all cultures. I also love nature, art, personal development, mindfulness, and watching movies and TV series. And, of course, like any good Italian, I love good food and good wine.

About the lesson

Learning a new language isn’t just about studying grammar—it’s about practising communication from the very first lesson! My approach helps you start speaking and understanding Italian right away, without worrying about making mistakes. Mistakes are a natural part of learning, and even native speakers aren’t perfect. Since I’ve learned a second language from scratch myself, I understand what you’re going through, and I’m here to guide you at every step.

Of course, there will be some grammar, but I promise to keep it as light and enjoyable as possible! We’ll focus on what you need, without overwhelming you.

In our lessons, we’ll use a wide range of materials: texts, articles, videos, songs, visuals, games, exercises, real-life dialogues, cultural themes, and audio. Each lesson is customized to your interests and goals, ensuring that your learning experience is both enjoyable and effective. We’ll also experiment with different methods to find the ones that suit you best, so you can progress quickly and confidently.

My lessons are all about teamwork and communication. If you need to focus on a specific topic or find a certain activity especially helpful, just let me know, and we’ll adapt the lessons to your needs. My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, motivated, and supported throughout your language-learning journey.

Your first lesson is free! We'll get to know each other, discuss how to structure your lessons, and I’ll assess your Italian level. If you’re a beginner, don’t worry—we’ll start from the very basics and build from there!
