I had the pleasure and good fortune of working with Beth for over three years, at a secondary school for boys with social, emotional and behavioural differences.

During that time, Beth was a valued and respected staff member who worked extremely hard with the pupils in her classes, and who contributed significantly to the good order of the school.

In her capacity as a Pupil Support Worker, Beth worked with all the pupils in her class during every lesson that they attended. She developed an excellent rapport with each pupil and helped them to achieve their goals. This included helping the students with their work, which meant Beth needed a good working knowledge of all subjects, as well as helping them to achieve high standards of behaviour and to develop good social skills.

Beth also did valuable and highly successful work as a maths tutor, both as an intervention to help pupils who were struggling, and outside of school hours to help pupils who wanted to progress further and achieve higher GCSE grades.
