About Marcus
Hello! My name is Marcus - I have just finished my A-Level exams. I have an offer to study Computer Science at the University of Cambridge, beginning in October. In terms of my qualifications, I have 10 GCSEs at average 8.8, with 9s in Maths, all 3 Sciences, English Language, Computer Science, Business and Geography. I also have an A* in A-Level Maths (which I achieved in Year 12), and am predicted 3 A*s in A-Level Computer Science, Further Maths and Physics, all of which I did this year. As part of my application to Cambridge, I took the Test of Mathematics for University Admission - which is the entrance test for Cambridge Computer Science and Economics, as well as various Maths-related courses at other Russell Group Universities. I achieved a 7.0, which is in the top 10% of candidates who took this test - showing my excellent problem solving ability.

In order to crush exams (or master any topic), you must first have a firm understanding of the content, and then be able to apply this. My lessons are an hour long, and will first ensure that the content is well grasped, and then that all past paper questions can be confidently attempted. The lessons are specifically for GCSE Computer Scientists and either GCSE or A-Level Mathematicians. I am most familiar with OCR GCSE Computer Science, Edexcel GCSE Maths and AQA A-Level Maths. However, I am very adaptable and am able to tutor for any exam board.
