About Clara
- I am currently studying History at Balliol College Oxford, and my favourite areas of history are Gender History from the 1970s onwards, Art History - specialising in modern and feminist artwork and early medieval history.
- I believe that the most important part of the admissions process for a History, English or Politics degree is finding the areas of that subject which you truly love, and which inspire you to study this subject at degree level, as this is what will engage the admissions tutors at your chosen university - for year 13 me this was looking at feminist and revisionist approaches to history, and I would love to help you find your own favourite area!
- I truly believe that the admissions process should be fun - it is a chance to explore your own research interests independently for the first time, and is one of the first opportunities to develop your academic voice which you will hone once at university.

-My aim is for my students to develop their own interests within their subjects, to build their confidence and give them a clear voice which will come through in their personal statements.
