About Louie
I try and be the teacher that I didn't have.
One that listens, adapts and works with a student, rather than dictating and instructing.
My work will be focused on you for the time that we have together and I always ensure that I am prepared for lessons with as many techniques and approaches as I can so I can deliver what is most effective for my student.

I am a student focused teacher, I will go through your schemes of work with you, highlight issue areas and work with you to find out how I can best support you to achieve the results you deserve and can be proud of. If you are preparing for GCSEs or A-levels, or want an advantage goin in to Key Stage 4 or 5 I am here for you.
Lessons are between 30-60 minutes and I am more than happy to break these into accessible chunks if required.
I have a BA(hons) in Sociology and History and a PGCE with a focus on History. I have 4 years of teaching experience in History, Geography and Religious Studies; with 2 years experience of teaching A-Level Politics. I have also had experience as a teaching assistant for students with SEND.
I have tutored in both the UK and Barbados and am a native English speaker.
