About Rahand
Hi! I’m Rahand, a medical student at the University of Birmingham with a deep passion for education and experience helping students excel academically. I did exceptionally well in my GCSEs and A-levels, which has equipped me with effective study techniques that I now pass on to my students. My approach is centred on mastering exam techniques and building a solid understanding of content. I emphasise using exam questions, mark schemes, and examiner reports to help students develop precision in their answers. Additionally, I incorporate tools like flashcards and structured practice questions to reinforce key concepts and boost long-term retention. I also specialise in university application support, including UCAT, and interview preparation. Drawing from my own experiences, I guide students with personalised strategies to navigate these competitive processes confidently. When I’m not studying or tutoring, I enjoy playing football, which teaches teamwork, resilience, and goal-setting—values I bring into my tutoring sessions. I look forward to helping you or your child achieve academic success!
