About Debashree
I have inspired many Individuals who had never done any crochet or knitting before and ended up making it their lifetime passion. Several individuals were dealing with grief and loss. I taught them how to crochet and process their grief through it. Others were inspired by the outfits I had made for myself and wanted to do it for themselves. Crochet = Relaxing creatively. This is my goal for my students. There is mindless relaxation which may not feel as good after sometime. And then there is mindful relaxation which will deeply relax the mind and free it from anxiety. Crochet is such an art form where you relax while you create. I have crocheted all along with this philosophy and would impart that to my students. My lessons are not just about learning done techniques and making a product. It is more holistic
