About Troy
I’m a passionate and dedicated swimming coach committed to helping every swimmer reach their full potential. My goal is to make learning both effective and enjoyable — building strong technique, lasting confidence, and a genuine love for the sport. With years of coaching experience and a competitive background as a Premier Water Polo player for Kristin School and North Harbour, I bring both real-world knowledge and practical skill to every lesson. My step-by-step teaching approach ensures that each swimmer feels supported, confident, and motivated to improve. As the owner of Prestige Aquatics Swim Club, I’ve coached swimmers of all abilities — from complete beginners to competitive athletes. My coaching style is professional, encouraging, and results-driven. I take real pride in helping swimmers make visible progress, whether it’s cleaner strokes, faster times, or growing self-belief in the water. Parents and swimmers can trust that every session is thoughtfully structured, goal-focused, and delivered with genuine care and attention to detail.

My lessons are designed to help swimmers improve their technique, confidence, and overall performance in a fun yet focused environment. I take a practical, step-by-step approach, breaking down every stroke and skill into clear, easy-to-follow movements.
Each session includes targeted drills that build efficiency, endurance, and speed — all while keeping swimmers motivated, engaged, and enjoying the process.
Lessons run for 1 full hour, giving us plenty of time to refine technique, correct mistakes, and see real improvement. With a maximum of just 5 swimmers per group, every athlete gets the focused, high-quality coaching they deserve.
I’m an experienced swim coach and water polo player, having represented both Kristin School’s Premier Water Polo Team and North Harbour Water Polo Club. As the owner of Prestige Aquatics Swim Club, I’ve coached swimmers of all ages and levels, helping many hit new milestones and develop a lifelong love for the sport.
These sessions are ideal for intermediate swimmers aged 8–13 who can already swim multiple lengths confidently and are ready to sharpen their skills — whether that means improving stroke technique, learning advanced skills, or preparing for competitive swimming.
