About Samuele

I am a graduate student in Aerospace Engineering and majoring in Space Engineering. Having also studied at a Scientific high school, I fully understand how important maths is but at the same time how difficult it can be. I myself have needed someone to lend me a hand every now and then, and now that I have acquired much more experience I want help others, while earning a little something in the process ;).
When I was a student I saw the need for tutoring as a negative thing, almost as something to be ashamed of. I thought I wasn't smart enough to understand things on my own and therefore needed someone to explain them back to me. The truth is that school and university systems often fail, for various reasons, to provide students with the foundations to learn properly. Realizing this and asking for help is not a symptom of weakness or stupidity, but rather a symptom of strength and intelligence. I firmly believe that anyone can learn anything, obviously with different times and in different ways, if they put enough effort and dedication into it.

About the lesson

My lessons always begin with an introductory meeting to get to know each other, fully understand what the student's needs are and establish an action plan. After, the structure of the lessons changes according to the student's needs: reviews of theoretical concepts, practical exercises, tasks, explanations of unclear topics and much more can be done.
I have good experience with teaching scientific subjects having assisted middle school, high school and university students. From these experiences I was able to understand that the best way to help a student is to figure out together the techniques and study methods that best suit them through patience and dedication. I believe that my experiences as both a student and a teacher can help me better understand what a student's problems may be and how to really help them.
