About Jia
I am Jia Patel. Currently, I am studying a dual degree in Engineering and Commerce at the University of Queensland. I have been tutoring since primary school, whether it be friends, siblings or children of relatives. I have gotten a lot of great feedback from these students. I am passionate about tutoring, and helping you achieve the best that you can, and opening pathways after high school.

I offer help with assignments, a one on one walk through and feedback of assignments. I also offer to help revise and teach the maths, physics, business and creative writing syllabus. I teach all subjects for grades 2 to 12, and each lesson duration will be one hour, but I am willing to adapt to the time you are more comfortable with. My teaching style includes both visual, and auditory explanations, and depending on each individual, I am happy to change my lesson structure according to what they need. I have a 12 years of informal experience. I started tutoring lower grade students since primary school, so I am familiar with a lot of learning styles.
