About Scott
I am a graduate from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics with a GPA of 3.795. I was awarded the honor of Magna Cum Laude and placed in the top 29% of my graduating class. My studies have focused in calculus, probability, and discrete mathematics. Since high school, I have always helped tutor my family and peers with their math homework, but I began tutoring with the company Math Around the Corner in Fort Worth, Texas while attending TCU. There, I gained experience tutoring students taking the AP calculus and AP precalculus tests as well as students taking every high school level math class.

Hi, I’m Scott and I’d like to help you better understand your math class. I know math can be difficult, so I’m here to help you learn and visualize the “why” behind the math so you don’t have to memorize a bunch of steps. I know everyone learns differently, so I tailor each session to the student’s needs with patience and excitement.
I have experience tutoring high school math at each level and lower level college math classes. I specialize in tutoring calculus and precalculus, but I can also help you with your geometry and algebra classes. My schedule is flexible and I’m more than willing to work around your availability.
