As a math tutor with a 4.6 GPA and real classroom experience from working at Kumon, as well as being a peer tutor in my school, I specialize in making complex concepts feel simple and approachable. I offer lessons in Geometry, Algebra, Arithmetic, and Chemistry, tailored for elementary, middle school, and high school students who want to boost their confidence, grades, and problem-solving skills.
My teaching method is all about attempt, review, and application. I break down tricky topics step-by-step, use real-life examples to make abstract ideas click, and adjust each session based on the student’s learning style and pace.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of past/new material, with a lesson of any unfamiliar or incomprehensible concepts, followed by guided practice and problem-solving. I end with a recap and a short plan to keep progress going between sessions. Whether you’re preparing for a test, catching up, or getting ahead, I’ve got your back.
What sets me apart? I’ve been in your shoes, and I sometimes still am—balancing school pressure while trying to truly understand the material. I teach with empathy, structure, and energy, and I make sure my students walk away feeling motivated and confident in themselves.
