About Helen
I have retired from full-time teaching, but still love the French language and culture, and love teaching it. I want to help you have success in your learning and I know this comes from tutoring that is tailored exactly to your needs which can only happen in a one-to-one situation. Too often classroom teachers do not have the time to help with individual needs. With me, you decide what you want help with; with my experience, I will give you the explanations and opportunities to practice what you need.

You bring the work along that you need help with, be it writing tasks, speaking or listening practice, vocabulary learning or grammar explanations. In each session, the one-to-one help will enable you to progress, no matter which year of high school and French-learning you are at. As an ex-French and English secondary school teacher with a BA in French, and a passion for all things French, I can help you succeed with your school work and enjoy this wonderful language and culture at the same time.
