About Marliza
I enjoy being with children, hence I prefer teaching primary school level mathematics.
I believe this is because of my experience of attending a kindergarten in Australia and my daughter's experience of going to a preschool in the UK which have left a wonderful and a happy memory for me embracing knowledge at an early age.
Since I have lectured for 10 years in the field of mathematics (at university/ universities), I find that I am flexible in terms of teaching approaches especially to the younger ones to suit the way they prefer to think and understand, no matter how many times the school syllabus' change :).
I have helped (and still helping), my 5 children in mathematics at various levels (sometimes other subjects too), and most of the time they become their teachers' favorite because they usually complete their homeworks early, they are very cooperative with the teachers and usually they deliver well in class.
However, I prefer my students to read and understand the problems at hand, rather than answering in a rote manner.
Apart from mathematics, I enjoy reading to children, both in Malay and English.

I can also help in pre university calculus.
