About Lisa
Ciao a tutti!
I have spent the past three years of my life dedicating to what I love the most: learning new languages, writing, and content creation.
As soon I started my bachelor’s degree three years ago in Translation and Interpreting, I began to collaborate with a translation agency based in Bologna, Italy. I have worked in many different fields, mainly in fairs events or tourist assets, but I have always been interested in storytelling. Over the past few years spent mastering languages and working abroad, I have gained a great awareness of the world around me. Last year, I started documenting my travels through various social media platforms with the aim of breaking down prejudices against certain cultures and empowering women to travel alone. Now I have been living in the UK, in Leeds and recently graduated from the University of Leeds with a Master's in Corporate Communications, Marketing and PR.
I believe that through the ability to communicate in different languages appropriately in different cultural setting anything it's achievable. Now, I want you to be able to do the same!

I believe that learning a language should be a fun and fulfilling experience, tailored on the individual's learning goals. I have been tutoring languages for 4 years now to teenagers and adults in a relaxed and non-judgmental environment. With a degree in Translation and Interpreting in English, Spanish and Arabic, I know the difficulties in learning and approaching a new language and culture.
Different skills such as reading, listening, speaking and writing will be covered depending on the student's needs whether that is to gain a language certification or impress your Italian partner's parents.
Lessons length varies from a minimum of a hour to 3.
