About Julie

With over 25+ years as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and yoga coach I like to think that I have built a portfolio of experience to help my clients reach their goals as individuals, rather than just giving 'text-book' workouts. What you think you want, is not always what you need. Together we can dive deep into your "WHY" and "WHAT". What has brought you to this point, and often it is more mental than physical. Why are you here looking now, and how can we work together. I have worked hard to rebuild my own fitness & wellbeing post back surgery when my son was just 2 and coming back from 2 cancer recoveries. So I understand how it feels to be overwhelmed and unsure where to start and to find someone who "gets" you. Some days you are ready to be pushed to your limits. Some days you need a gentle stretch, relaxation, and some TLC. Both things work together to build a well-rounded fitness program for you, the individual.

Hi, I’m Julie! At JB Flex & Flow, we’re all about empowering everyday people to move, grow, and feel amazing in their bodies—no matter their starting point. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve flexibility, find balance, or simply feel better in your daily life, we’ve got you covered. My motto is progress over perfection and your oversized t-shirt is welcome here. PT sessions are 30 mins in duration and can be offered in person at my home studio or online. I am a non-scale coach and believe in everything in moderation including coffee & cake! I'm definitely not your stereotypical personal trainer. With experience that fuses bodybuilding, group fitness, and yoga you can be assured of a well-rounded training experience. That focuses on function, mobility, strength, and balance. Over my career, I have trained children as young as 6 and adults well into their 60s and 70s. I currently work in the NDIS and retirement space and love more than anything to see the joy in people's faces when they achieve something they don't think they could.
