Using Adobe Illustrator, I guide students through the process of translating their ideas into precise technical drawings, equipping them with essential digital design skills. We will explore the art of creating line sheets and range plans, honing students' abilities to present their collections professionally and strategically. Through hands-on exercises and real-world examples, students gain a comprehensive understanding of how to develop cohesive and marketable fashion lines. But my approach goes beyond technical proficiency; I place a strong emphasis on inclusive design, ensuring that students learn to create clothing that celebrates diversity and embraces all body types. With a focus on empathy and understanding, I empower students to design with compassion and inclusivity at the forefront of their practice. Throughout the lesson, students are encouraged to ask questions, experiment with new techniques, and unleash their creativity without limits.
