About Ali

Teaching offers a unique opportunity to share knowledge, inspire others, and contribute to the development of future generations. I am particularly passionate about climate change, renewable energy, and the role of chemistry as one of the cornerstones in addressing these global challenges. By teaching, I believe I can make a meaningful impact on students, helping them understand the urgent need for solutions and equipping them with the skills to contribute to those solutions. Chemistry is central to innovations in renewable energy, sustainable technologies, and climate change mitigation. Through teaching, I hope to instill in students a deep understanding of how chemistry can drive progress in these critical areas, from developing more efficient energy storage solutions to creating sustainable materials and processes. I find great satisfaction in fostering an environment where students feel empowered to explore complex scientific concepts, challenge themselves, and think creatively about real-world applications. Through education, I can help develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are essential for addressing the pressing issues of our time. Ultimately, I see teaching as a way to contribute to the academic community, advance knowledge in chemistry, renewable energy, and climate change, and inspire the next generation of scientists and innovators to create sustainable solutions for the future.

About the lesson

I take a very personal approach to tutoring because I believe each student is unique, and learning should be tailored to fit their individual needs and pace. I make it a priority to understand not just where my students are struggling, but also what excites them about chemistry, so we can build from there.

Rather than just focusing on memorization, I guide my students through the "why" and "how" of concepts, making sure they really understand the material. I like to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where questions are always welcomed, and no topic feels too daunting.

I aim to be more than just a tutor—I want to be someone they can rely on for support, whether it's explaining a tricky concept or helping them navigate academic pressures. Watching a student’s confidence grow and seeing that “aha” moment is the most rewarding part of what I do.
