About Darryn

I have over 4 years of tutoring experience that I gained over the course of my university career. I worked both for the university, facilitating group tutorials and in a private capacity for one-on-one sessions. Having worked for over 5 years in the fields of banking and Data Science, I am better able to bring the subject matter to life; always reminding the students of the bigger picture. About the lesson

There are not many things that provide as much joy as seeing the light of understanding burn strongly in the eyes of a student; knowing that I have contributed to that is not only humbling, but truly magical. I am deeply passionate about continuous development but especially about imparting knowledge and facilitating growth in others. I have taught students at all undergraduate levels and like to work methodically, assessing the current level of the student with test questions, using that to identify problem areas and making sure that I explain the material from an angle that the student will understand. I love encouraging curiosity and self-learning in students as well; allowing them the confidence to believe in their ability to excel.
