Hi, I’m a singing tutor with 10 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in music. I specialise in teaching Classical, Pop, Rock, and Country singing, tailoring each lesson to suit your voice and musical goals. Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for the stage, I offer a supportive, structured environment to help you grow. My teaching combines vocal technique with essential musicianship skills like ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory. I believe that confident singing comes from both vocal control and musical understanding. In each session, we explore tone, breath support, range, and expression—while also building your musical literacy. I work with singers of all levels and backgrounds. My singing lessons for developing musicians focus on building strong music literacy and sight-singing skills, essential for both ensemble performance and solo versatility. For those in orchestras or transitioning between genres, I emphasise clear notation reading, interval recognition, rhythm accuracy, and harmonic awareness. We begin with foundational exercises—scales, solfège, and rhythm drills—designed to sharpen the ear and connect it seamlessly to the voice. Students use sight-singing apps and rhythm trainers to reinforce skills between lessons, making practice structured yet flexible. I integrate notation tools to visualise melodies and harmonies, helping singers internalise music as they perform. Interval training is introduced early, and I pair it with real music examples to keep it relevant and engaging. Crossover singers benefit from learning to navigate different vocal styles while staying grounded in pitch and rhythm. Orchestra members refine their ability to read vocal scores fluently and blend with instrumental textures. Harmony work deepens understanding of part-singing and prepares students for both solo and group contexts. Progress is built through consistency, mindful listening, and developing that powerful ear-mind-voice connection. I guide each student patiently, turning complex theory into musical instinct.
