About Aya
I am a graduate secondary teacher.
Since finishing school, I have been employed as a boarding house attendant, nanny, tutor and personal assistant in Brisbane which has given me a valuable insight into, and appreciation of the sector.
I aim to deliver a well-rounded education to young people. I aim to helping students realise their potential academically and as a whole person. Primarily as an English and Biology teacher I aim to do this through expanding their critical and creative faculties while exploring different perspectives of current and past issues, looking beyond the issue towards solutions, and finding the potential out of different situations.

I enjoy teaching students general science up to year 10 and specialise in biology in senior years (11 and 12).
I am flexible with lesson lengths, however I prefer tutor sessions to be between 1-1.5 hours.
I can assist with examination preparation and assessment/assignment help.
