Lessons would be adapted for each and every student, depending on what they don't feel confident in - whether it is essay structure, understanding texts/characters/theme, SPAG, or even homework they are struggling with.
Having passed the 11+ myself, achieved 8's in literature and language at GCSE and an A* in A-Level English, I offer help for 11+, GCSE and A-Level students.
Although I have no previous experience as a tutor, I completed a year of Primary Education with QTS at Durham University before deciding to transfer to English Literature.
This gave me significant experience in different teaching styles and greatly improved my ability to personalise teaching for different students. Also, I am familiar with the current mark schemes and exam styles having only recently left secondary school - I still remember all my little tricks!
