About Emma
I am a college student currently studying English and Creative Writing with an emphasis on Fiction Writing. I want to also note that as a person who needed tutoring in my younger years, I know what it feels to be in that position. But tutoring is a wonderful way to gain both real life experience in the chosen subjects, and also empower yourself and those around you with what you have learned. Education is never a linear process, but it is one that is incredibly rewarding. And I hope that is something I may be able to demonstrate through my work!

I tend to take an inclusive approach to my methods of tutoring, engaging the student with the materials, and helping them to feel excited and empowered by the skills that they have learned.
A typical lesson plan based upon the students specific and directed needs, but will always begin with a basic check-in to see where they are in their learning journey, and where they want/need to end up.
My tutoring lessons are for students at the elementary grade level in particular.
I think what sets me apart as a tutor is my love of learning, and how I strive to instill that into all the scholars I have the privilege of tutoring.
