About Emily
I take notes just like I expect my students. No two students are alike and neither are their learning styles. I meet you where you are at academically. When my daughter was still in school I homeschooled her for several years. She is autistic and was falling behind. After one year at home with me she improved three grade levels.

I break down the theories in easy to understand language. My method uses a lot of every day examples which help students retain information. I believe in giving students real life situations when teaching complex theories, for example body dysmorphia. I use Michael Jackson as an example. There is an endless supply of pictures that show his transformation as well as him saying he hated the way he looked.
