About Niko
I am a dedicated tutor with over 6 years of experience teaching chess to students of all levels—from curious beginners to advanced, competitive players. Throughout my tutoring journey, I’ve had the privilege of working with around 200 students, each with their own unique learning style and goals. My approach is rooted in personalised learning, where every lesson is carefully tailored to match the student’s skill level, pace, and interests. I emphasise strategic thinking, creativity, and time management, while fostering a strong understanding of opening theory, tactics, and endgame fundamentals.
