About Tyler
In high school I was part of a dual-enrollment program that allowed me to gain exposure to a college-level education early. I struggled a lot in the beginning to keep up with the college students but it forced me to accelerate at a faster pace and develop critical learning skills to adjust to the level of content being taught. It was important to me to firm up my comprehension to keep up with the other students and it ultimately helped me longterm.

I believe in learning through comprehension. It's not enough to simply be shown a concept and told to apply it. Sometimes it's necessary to understand how each piece of a given topic works before trying to put it all together. Without a strong foundation, it's difficult to learn advanced concepts.
