About Steve
Hey there, future animators! My name is Steve and I've been interested in animation for many years. My passion began when I was very young and used my father's camcorder to create a fast stick-figure animation drawn on copy paper at the age of 12.
3D animation wasn't mainstream while I was growing up and it wasn't until I first discovered 3D Max at the The Chubb Institute in 2006 that I found my path. I'm a graduate of the High School of Art & Design with a diploma in Commercial Art- -Certificate of Completion from The Chubb Institute in Computer Arts -Bachelor's degree from Full Sail University in Computer Animation in which I also had the opportunity to become a peer tutor. This means I was authorized to help other students in classes I have previously passed with a minimum B+ average.
It was here where I really discovered my pleasure in teaching and tutoring others who follow that same passion for creating emotion and believability in 3D.
I completed a mentoring program with an 18 year animation veteran at Pixar recently and currently at the end of my program with AnimSchool as we never stop learning to improve our skills and eye for animation.
I'm a passionate animator and tutor who loves to help and knows alternate techniques in helping to teach confusing concepts.
I look forward to working with you and am ready to guide you along your journey into animating characters in 3D!
