About Solange

Actress and artist, I was trained in the US in the University of Connecticut and will be present at this year's Cannes festival. I have acted in several theater productions (Collectif de l'Âtre, Meeercredi Productions) and I have an experience as well as a volunteer in a local radio.

As a teacher, I have already led numerous training in theaters or companies and accompanied more than eight people (and more to come!) to regain confidence in their speech and to use their words as a tool of charisma and communication. .

I have been working in the cinema and entertainment industries for almost 10 years. With this, I have developed competent skills in oral communication, empathy and active listening.

Course available in French or in English.

My course is made for you if you are a manager, representative of an institution, human resources manager or project manager. In just a few sessions, you will be comfortable listening to your team members, giving a speech or conference, creating a positive environment around you and overall making people understand what you want to say.

If you have had enough of colleagues who don't do what they say, if you feel like constantly having to repeat things before they get understood or that you're always moderating the same people to prevent them from getting angry then my course is made for you.

It's up to you to negotiate solutions with your colleagues. But I can help with being sure to understand people around you, to avoid misunderstanding them and to be listened to.

During our first meeting, we will take a look at your needs and situation. I will ask you about a past situation where you failed to make yourself understood, to say what was truly important to you in front of an audience, or to express yourself the way you wanted.

We start by looking together for the reason(s) why this might have happened.

Then, based on this discussion, I offer you an exercise to redo this past situation “for fake”. We will include an exercise to make it go better. This exercise can be:
- a change in the pitch of your voice
- accompanying gestures to make your thought visible
- address training
- a role play where I take the place of a colleague or team member
- an enlightenment of your speech through smiling and/or the pleasure of choosing your words
- practice on the rhythm of your voice
- visualization of your audience / interlocutor to practice interacting with them
- a link with emotional motivations or objectives
- etc

My goal is not to make you work on everything related to speaking. Rather, it is to find together the most annoying difficulty for you to help you clear it and to feel more confident with yourself and with your words.

Once this training is done, we prepare together for the next time you are faced with a similar situation in real life.

We need three sessions to work on a deep block. Then it's you who decide if you want to go further by working on something else.

For these courses I base myself on the work in behavioral psychology of Bessel van der Kolk and Marshall Rosenberg who talk about non-violent communication and replays of past situations to adopt new habits. I also base my course on my practice with David Allan Stern and Jennifer Scapetis, specialists in accents and intonations in the spoken voice. Their exercises are taught in American Universities for actors to make their speech dynamic and easy to listen to. Finally, I base myself on my practice with Vincent Tycer, Barbara Housing or Robert Castle, and on certain personal experiences, to work on relaxation, mental imagery, external focus and the joy of establishing contact with somebody else.

I also offer speaking seminars for your teams members and "emergency" sessions to prepare in detail for a conference or a very close meeting.

Also, specifically for English-speaker, I can offer help in understanding some social situations proper to France. I've been living both in the France, the UK and the US and I know there can some "cultural surprises" in settling in France as a native of an English-speaking country.

Finally, if you are not a representative or project manager, but you still want to improve your oral communication, you can still contact obviously and I'll be very happy to answer! :)

Don't hesitate to subscribe to my Instagram and LinkedIn accounts. I post content about fashion, cinema and artistic photos! Check it out, you will not regret it!

Take care and have a very nice day!
