We have been studying in person and via FaceTime with Michele Romeo for 6 months now. Michele is absolutely wonderful, with a calm manner, supportive teaching style and has a fantastic rapport with my son.

Jack (9 years old) came to him with very rudimentary skills. We had 30 days to learn a complex song on the ukulele and to be able to sing along with playing to perform with full band, in front of his school. He was able to perform within a couple of weeks and his performance was flawless. He is now learning to read music and his progress has been very quick. Though Michele is not a vocal coach he is able to coach him on his singing with the instrument.

We are looking forward to moving up to guitar next month.

Michele is a very accomplished musician who can score any song for a beginner to learn and my son will be able to grow with him. We have studied with a couple of other teachers and did not progress very much. I highly recommend Michele Romeo.

Michele is such an amazing teacher to work with! I started guitar lessons to have fun and pick up a new hobby, and one thing he said completely transformed the way I approached lessons - “I can teach you just how to play songs, or I can teach you how to understand the instrument and the way it works.” My lessons are now filled with understanding music theory, technical exercises, and arranging chords to play songs. Michele has provided such a solid foundation for learning, he is patient and informative, and is so attentive to your growth. The progress we’ve made in just a few short months feels so exciting, and makes me want to keep coming back! He is patient. Encouraging. He can truly see inside the child and understand their talents and potential and not only make the child feel comfortable but also the parent he is a real gift and a real gem is extremely dedicated and patient and kind and we have enjoyed working with him so much.
